3,Aim of Education
This school aims to educate children who will create
a bright future for themselves and strive for developing an innovating
way of life.
To achieve this aim, they are expected to cherish wisdom, to be considerate
of others with a sound mind, to do things tenaciously, and to be strong
in body throughout their days in this school.
4,Characteristics
The school has three main responsibilities as a laboratory
school of the College of Education.
One of them is to provide student teachers with class
observation and participation opportunities in order to satisfy the requirement
for obtaining a teacher's certificate.
The second is the cooperation of the teaching staff
with the faculty of the College of Education in such matters as conducting
educational research and the development of teaching skills.
The last is to contribute to the promotion of education
in Okinawan communities.
